Midnight Magic

SOLD. Midnight Magic is a throw sized quilt named after the fabric collection Midnight Magic 2 by April Rosenthal for Moda Fabrics. The fabrics are Halloween but not over the top - with florals and a Moroccan tile pattern, tiny stars, and gingham mixed in with moon shapes, black cats, skull and bones and candy corn. So pretty but not too creepy! The colours are a pretty orange, black, greys and off white. The background I used is Grunge Hits the Spot eggshell. I like to use Grunge for backgrounds as there is a grey shading that makes the quilt pet friendly! The pattern I used is Melody by Kitchen Table Quilting. I thought the blocks looked like segmented legs - like a spider. The backing fabric is a fun black and white cats print. I did a two tone binding with alternate strips of orange and black skull and bones. The quilt was professionally long arm quilted by quilting Biker in a gorgeous spiderweb design and light grey thread. I love it!

This throw size quilt will make your room instant Halloween without having to do too much else to decorate. A delight to bring out year after year! The added benefit will be the coziness it provides on the cooler nights.

Materials: All new 100% cotton quilting fabrics. Quality 100% cotton batting which is natural, breathable, soft and adds a lovely cosiness to the quilt. Double fold binding is machine stitched to the quilt. Fabrics have not been pre-washed so first washing will produce a delightfully wrinkly result and 3-5% shrinkage will occur.
