Sweetheart

Sweetheart is a celebration of love in all of its forms. I started this quilt along called Dina by GE Designs on Valentines Day. This throw sized quilt would make a lovely gift for anyone you love - especially if that person is you! I used all leftover pieces of fabric with varying shades of pink. For the accent I chose Bella Spray. The same blue is in the binding. The backing is pieced from two pints - a leaf print and a little “x” print - lots of hugs! Professionally long arm quilted by Quilting Biker in an edge to edge design called “Love Charm” - a pretty clamshell with a heart embedded.

A throw quilt can be used on your couch or favourite chair. Pictured in the photos on a queen bed - note it only covers the top. If you plan to use it on a bed please measure your bed and take note of the dimensions of the quilt. It can be folded at the foot of a larger bed for napping or for colder nights. Materials: All new 100% cotton quilting fabrics. Quality 100% cotton batting which is natural, breathable, soft and adds a lovely cosiness to the quilt. Double fold binding is machine stitched to the quilt. Fabrics have not been pre-washed so first washing will produce a delightfully wrinkly result and 3-5% shrinkage will occur.
