Rosie

Rosie is a soft, romantic double (or generous twin) size quilt in French General by Moda Fabrics. The collection is Chateau de Chantilly. These fabrics are a nod to traditional /classic French decor; small prints and botanicals in colours typically seen in the 18th and 19th century. There is quite an intricate design for the piecing. The prints are complimented by a solid creamy white solid. The main border is a gorgeous floral from the collection in muted rose. A second border and binding are a small fleur de lis print from the line in a soft tan colour. The pattern is Rosie by GE Designs. The backing is a soft cream print. Professionally long arm quilted by Quilting Biker in an edge to edge design called Enchanted Garden. This accents the fabrics beautifully. Binding is sewn entirely by machine.

Pictured in the photos on a queen bed - note it only covers the top. If you plan to use it on a bed please measure your bed and take note of the dimensions of the quilt. It can be folded at the foot of a larger bed for napping or for colder nights.

Materials: All new 100% cotton quilting fabrics. Quality 100% cotton batting which is natural, breathable, soft and adds a lovely cosiness to the quilt. Double fold binding is machine stitched to the quilt. Fabrics have not been pre-washed so first washing will produce a delightfully wrinkly result and 3-5% shrinkage will occur.
