Woven Solids

Woven Solids is a pretty assortment of my solid pieces of quilting fabric gathered over the first 12 years of quilt making. I loved making this quilt. The pattern is a very clever arrangement of blocks by Kitchen Table Quilting. I pieced together larger blocks of pastel solids for the backing and the back of the quilt is as pretty as the front. I used the remaining pieces of the backing to make a scrappy binding - I love how it turned out! The quilting is whimsical and fun. It takes away the hard edges of the blocks.

The quilt is not quite a twin - a generous throw size. I think it would be pretty on a daybed or perfect for a dorm room!

A throw or twin bed sized quilt can be used on your couch or favourite chair. Pictured in the photos on a queen bed - note it only covers the top. If you plan to use it on a bed please measure your bed and take note of the dimensions of the quilt. It can be folded at the foot of a larger bed (pictured) for napping or for colder nights. Materials: All new 100% cotton quilting fabrics. Quality 100% cotton batting which is natural, breathable, soft and adds a lovely cosiness to the quilt. Double fold binding is machine stitched to the quilt. Fabrics have not been pre-washed so first washing will produce a delightfully wrinkly result and 3-5% shrinkage will occur.
