Colour Play

Colour Play is just that. I participated in a sew along with fabric and pattern designer Libs Elliott. I followed the suggested colour layout but used my own selections for the fabrics. I love how it flows across the quilt. I prefer not to work with stark black and white so used a charcoal solid and a white print with charcoal lines. It softens the graphic nature of the pattern but still provides lovely contrast to the colour pops.

A throw sized quilt can be used on your couch or favourite chair. It can be folded at the foot of a larger bed for napping or for colder nights. Pictured on a queen bed for reference. This quilt could be hung from a rod using cafe clips to add a dramatic effect to your room.

Materials: All new 100% cotton quilting fabrics. Quality 100% cotton batting which is natural, breathable, soft and adds a lovely cosiness to the quilt. Double fold binding is machine stitched to the quilt. Fabrics have not been pre-washed so first washing will produce a delightfully wrinkly result and 3-5% shrinkage will occur.
