Daffodils

It was the daffodil prints in these Ruby Star Society fabrics that drew me to the collection. Daffodils herald the arrival of spring and bring hope that warmer, brighter days are ahead. Let this pretty quilt help you to hold on to that feeling all year long! Contemporary, bright and playful prints - not just daffodils. There are even some wild cats tucked in the greenery. The fabrics have a bit of metallic sprinkled about. I chose a quilting thread in a gold colour for accent. There is a bit of sparkle in the binding as well.

My customer who purchased a quilt made in this pattern says “perfect size for a double” but lovely at the foot of a larger bed (pictured on a queen).

Materials: All new 100% cotton quilting fabrics. Quality 100% cotton batting which is natural, breathable, soft and adds a lovely cosiness to the quilt. Double fold binding is machine stitched to the quilt. Fabrics have not been pre-washed so first washing will produce a delightfully wrinkly result and 3-5% shrinkage will occur.
